ECO Window Systems Fence Installation: The San Diego Owner’s Guide
If you have ECO Window Systems fence posts, panels, or gate hardware that’s failing, we stock compatible replacement parts and install them throughout San Diego. A typical ECO Window Systems fence installation in San Diego runs $4,130 to $10,620, with most jobs done in one to two days once parts are on site. Most homeowners call us after a gate starts sagging or a post shifts in the ground: what looked like a minor lean turns out to be a broken post base or rotted mounting point.
This page covers which ECO Window Systems parts we replace, what they cost, how to spot a failing installation before it gets worse, and whether the work is something you should touch yourself. Mason Remodeling Co San Diego is an independent service provider. We’re not affiliated with ECO Window Systems, and we don’t pretend to be.
Which ECO Window Systems Models This Applies To

ECO Window Systems fence lines vary by generation, and the parts are not all interchangeable. The most common installations we service in San Diego fall into three groups: aluminum panel systems with integrated post channels, vinyl privacy fencing with routed rail slots, and steel post-and-rail setups used around pool enclosures.
Before ordering any part, check the inside face of a post cap or the lower rail for an engraved or stamped model code. Older ECO Window Systems panels often have the code on a foil tag inside the top rail channel. The measurements that matter are panel width, post outside dimension (usually 4″ or 5″), and the rail profile. A 4″ post from an ECO Window Systems aluminum line won’t accept rails cut for their 5″ vinyl posts, even though both look square from a distance. We’ve seen that mismatch more than once.
For OEM parts, lead times run two to four weeks depending on the line. For most standard sizes we recommend a quality aftermarket equivalent: same gauge, same powder-coat spec, often in stock locally. If you’re set on OEM, we’ll order it and verify the part number against your panel before anything gets installed.
Styles & brands we work with

Signs Your ECO Window Systems Fence Installation Is Failing
- Gate sagging toward the latch side. The top hinge is pulling out of the post, or the post itself has started to lean. ECO Window Systems gate posts take more load than panel posts, and once the base loosens, the whole gate follows.
- Panels rattling in the wind. The rail-to-post brackets have loosened or the rail ends have worn where they seat into the post channel. In San Diego’s coastal wind zones, this gets worse fast.
- White or gray powder streaking down a post. That’s corrosion starting under the powder coat, usually at the base where sprinkler water hits it. Aluminum posts near irrigated lawns fail here first.
- Vinyl panels bowing or pulling out of the bottom rail. Thermal expansion plus age. Once a panel escapes the rail slot, it rarely seats back correctly without replacement hardware.
- Post wobbles when you push on it. The post base has rusted through or the concrete footing has cracked. This is the one to address immediately: a failed post in a wind event can take panels and gate hardware with it.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

Fence installation for ECO Window Systems products in San Diego runs $4,130 to $10,620, depending on how many posts and panels are involved and whether the gate is part of the job. A single post replacement with a matching panel section sits at the low end. A full fence line with gate hardware, post bases, and panel replacement runs toward the top.
Every quote is written before work starts. You’ll see the line items: post cost, panel cost, hardware, concrete, labor, and disposal. No verbal estimate that grows into a surprise invoice. The labor portion includes setting posts in new concrete where needed, squaring the gate, and re-hanging it so it swings level. Workmanship is covered for 365 days from the completion date under our Done Right Promise. If a post shifts or a gate drops within that year, we come back at no charge.
DIY or Call Us?
You can safely check what’s wrong: push each post, open and close the gate slowly, look for broken brackets and pulled screws. That diagnosis tells you what to ask for when you call. What you shouldn’t do is remove a set post or try to re-hang a gate with new hardware if the post itself is moving. A gate under tension can kick hard when the hinges let go, and a post that’s rusted below grade needs more than a bag of quick-set concrete.
If the post is solid and all that’s needed is a panel slide-back into its rail, that’s a two-person job best done without a ladder on uneven ground. For anything structural, call (619) 673-9302. We’ll bring the right parts the first time, and you’ll know the price before we start.
FAQs

In San Diego, expect 15 to 20 years from aluminum with good powder coat, and 10 to 15 from vinyl before sun and thermal cycling start showing. Coastal salt air shortens aluminum life by a few years, especially within two miles of the water. Call (619) 673-9302 if your fence is showing its age and you want an estimate for full replacement.
If the post is sound above the soil line but loose at the base, we can often reset it in new concrete without replacing the post or adjacent panels. If the base has rusted through or the post is deformed, replacement is the only honest fix. We’ll tell you which one applies after looking at it, and the written estimate reflects what we actually find.
Most single-post or gate repairs in San Diego are done in one day. Full fence replacements with multiple posts take two days, not counting concrete cure time before gate hardware goes back on. We schedule the work, show up when we say we’ll show up, and leave the line clean.
We stock the most common post sizes, rail profiles, and gate hardware for ECO Window Systems lines. Less common panel sizes or specific colors may take a few days to source locally. We also carry parts for other lines, including KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone, when a project involves mixed brands. If we need to order, the lead time is in your written estimate before any work starts.
